"AEKNIL INJ. is well absorbed, following an intramuscular Injection. Peak Plasma concentration, well above the peak plasma concentration attained after oral administration, is attained 15 minutes after Intramuscular Injection. Thereafter, Plasma concentration rapidly declines. Approximately 20% of peak plasma concentration is present in the blood at 1 hour and 3% at 6 hours after injection."
